Who Are We?
Bahá'ís are followers of Bahá'u'lláh, who we believe is the Promised One of all religions. The Bahá'í Faith is a world religion whose purpose is to unite all the races and peoples of the world in one universal Cause and one common Faith.
  • The Promised Day Has Come
  • The traditions of almost every people include the promise of a future when peace and harmony will be established on earth and humankind will live in prosperity. We believe that the promised hour has come and that Bahá'u'lláh, whose name means "The Glory Of God", is the great Personage Whose Teachings will enable humanity to build a new world.

  • In His Writings, Bahá'u'lláh says:
  • "That which the Lord hath ordained as the sovereign remedy and the mightiest instrument for the healing of all the world is the union of all its peoples in one universal Cause, one common Faith."

  • Beliefs
  • Bahá'ís believe in One God, Who created all things out of love for us. We believe that God is unknowable in His Essence and should not be assigned human limitations such as gender, appearance or temperments. God established a covenant with mankind, promising that He would never leave us without guidance and in return requires that we recognize His Messengers (who we call Manifestations of God, the most recent being Bahá'u'lláh) and follow that guidance.
